Returns and refunds

Your right to cancel an online order

For eligible online purchases, tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving your goods. You then have a further 14 days to send them back. You do not need to give a reason. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may make a deduction for handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

We will refund the purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery option offered. Extra costs for express delivery are not refundable on a change-of-mind cancellation. Refunds are made to the original payment method, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence you have sent them back, whichever comes first.

Our additional 30-day returns offer

We offer 30 days after delivery to request a return. Outside the statutory cancellation period, goods returned under this additional offer should be unused, with tags and original packaging. This additional offer does not reduce your legal rights.

Hygiene-sealed goods

Where goods are supplied sealed and are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, the change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply once that seal has been broken after delivery. This does not remove your rights if an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the required standard.

Sale items have the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items. Beauty products are not excluded from returns as an entire category.

Faulty or incorrect items

Contact us if an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Your statutory rights apply independently of our additional 30-day offer. We will explain the appropriate remedy and return arrangements.

Size exchanges: We accept requests to exchange an item for a larger or smaller size within 30 days of delivery, subject to stock availability. Items must be unused and undamaged, with their original tags and packaging. Contact info@vellaria.co.uk before returning your item. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Return postage

Customers are responsible for return postage for change-of-mind returns. We do not provide prepaid return labels for these returns. Please keep proof of postage.

Please take a moment to check product details, sizes, shades and your basket before placing your order. Thoughtful shopping can help avoid unnecessary returns. This does not affect your right to cancel or your statutory rights.

If your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before returning it so we can arrange the return. We will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

Cancellation notice

You can email a clear cancellation statement. A suggested form is: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following goods: [goods]. Ordered on/received on: [date]. Customer name: [name]. Customer address: [address]. Date: [date].”
